Abyss Chronograph by Cédric Johner, Genève, Reference number 5371/4.

Limited Edition No. 2/20. Made in a limited series of 20 examples, this watch originally sold in 2002 for CHF50,300, and is an early example of Cédric's craft.

There are several features that make this a desirable neo-vintage watch for the connoisseur. It houses a vintage Valjoux 71 manual-wind chronograph movement with hand-finishing and swan neck regulator.

The solid gold Abyss case was hand-made by Cédric using traditional tools, and features a matching solid-gold deployment clasp.

The guilloché dial is special - Cédric having made it by hand at the dial company Les Cadraniers de Genève he founded with F. P. Journe and Harry Winston, then headed by Max Büsser (and which is now owned by F. P. Journe).

The watch has been serviced, comes with its original Cédric Johner strap, and is in full working order.

Fine and unusual tonneau-shaped case in solid 18K pink gold measuring 39mm wide x 41mm long x 13.5mm thick, and features a sapphire crystal and display case back.
